SUPER PUMA AS 332 L2

This is Medium-weight twin-engine transport helicopter, which has integrated the most modern technologies in the fields of propulsion (Turbomeca Makila 1A2 engines), mechanical assemblies or built-in avionics (4-axis autopilot and coupler together with integrated displays in the basic version).

Its characteristics result from developments carried out in collaboration with its users, and take into consideration the strictest regulations. It is remarkably comfortable and has profitable performance capabilities and reduced maintenance costs.

It is the first helicopter with a certified ?'super-contingency'' operation capability which provides maximum safety in the case of problems in one engine.

Its operating costs may be optimized through the use of a Health Usage Monitoring System (HUMS).

It is more specifically intended for offshore transport ( 19 to 24 passengers). Its high take off-weight allows it to operate from bases over 200 n.m. away from the coast.
